Fahrenheit 451

We, co-workers of the website of “https:///www.magiciancatbook.com" have invited fans of ours to share their reading experience with our fellow fans.

Judy:

I read the book because my kid was learning this novel in school. One day I peeked at my son’s notebook and found a report for F451. I was intrigued by the idea that a person who lived many decades ago could have predicted the state of our lives today. So, I bought the book and started reading. I was horrified by the idea that people could lose their memories if they watched too many instant entertainment shows. This novel taught me a lot memories if they watched too many instant entertainment shows. This novel taught me a lot
about life. Now, I seldom watch television and always read books instead of looking at my iPhone. I have also started a book club called ‘Deciding the Future’, and there are already ten moms who have joined. I named it in order to state that the future depends on our actions.

Who am i:

So, I started reading when I saw the report on Magician Cat. I had also read about it in a school magazine. I liked the genre of science fiction and the future technology thing. I plan to write a book about time travel when I graduate from university. I got sucked into the story line as soon as I started. This helped me escape into a world of wonderous AI technology and time travel machines, and prevented the headache of having to write my thesis.

Joker in the street:

I had seen the film once, but I really didn’t like it. So, it prevented me from reading. Last week our homeroom teacher asked us to select the most interesting part of the book and turn it into a play for our classmates to watch. I was trying to think of the scenes in the movie when my friend Laura showed up with the book. At first, I was reluctant to look at it, but then I finally read it. It didn’t do much for me at the beginning, but slowly, it turned out to be a really dramatic story. This totally changed my opinion of it. It’s not a soap opera of Guy and Clarisse falling in love, but a critique of our dependence on power and technology. Our play was awarded the first prize in 7th grade. This was my first A+ in homeroom and creative thinking. I felt like the sun!

Teacher’s comments:

Very nice, Pluvia. You’re doing well at imitating the informal style of internet chat rooms. Your grammar is excellent, so I’ve just added a few vocabulary suggestions really, such as the phrase, ‘it didn’t do much for me’, which means, ‘it didn’t interest me’.
